Use the Charts

Portrait Mode

Scroll through the price chart by swiping left or right on the chart.

Swiping left or right on the scroll bar at the bottom of the chart controls the price cursor, which is displayed as the vertical line. The top of the chart displays the open, high, low and close prices together with the time stamp for the chart data point that the price cursor is overlaying.

Use pinch and spread gestures to zoom out or zoom into the chart.

You can add and view technical indicators in panels below the chart using the Chart Settings. If the trade buttons are enabled from the Chart Settings, then you can place trades and orders directly from the chart - see Trade from Charts.

Landscape Mode

Scroll through the price chart by swiping left or right on the chart.

To move the price cursor, tap and hold your finger upon the bottom of the price cursor. A scroll icon appears at the bottom and you can now swipe left or right moving the price cursor. The top of the chart displays the open, high, low and close prices together with the time stamp for the chart data point that the price cursor is overlaying.

Use pinch and spread gestures to zoom out or zoom into the chart.

Draw Trendlines

  1. Tap the [Chart Settings] button and select Tools > Lines.
  2. Select Add Trend Line #1 or Add Trend Line #2 - you can draw two trendlines on a chart if desired.
  3. Touch the starting point on the chart for the trend line. Drag the line that appears until you reach the desired end point. The trend line is now fixed to the chart. You can remove trend lines by selecting [Chart Settings] > Tools > Remove Trend Line from the menu.

Draw Snapping Trendlines

  1. Tap the [Chart Settings] button and select Tools > Lines.
  2. Select Add Snapping Trend Line #1 or Add Snapping Trend Line #2 - you can draw two snapping trendlines on a chart if desired.
  3. Touch the starting point on the chart for the snapping trend line - the line "snaps" to the closest price data point. Drag the line that appears until you reach the desired end point - the line "snaps" to the closest price data point. The snapping trend line is now fixed to the chart. You can remove snapping trend lines by selecting [Chart Settings] > Tools > Remove Snapping Trend Line from the menu.

 

Add Rectangle, Triangle or Ellipse Shapes

  1. Tap the [Chart Settings] button and select Tools > Shapes.
  2. Select Add <Shape> #1 or Add <Shape> #2, where <Shape> can be Rectangle, Trianlge or Ellipse. You can draw two of each shape on a chart.
  3. Touch the starting point for the shape on the chart. Drag the shape that appears until you reach the desired end point. The shape is now fixed to the chart. You can remove the shape by selecting [Chart Settings] > Tools > Remove <Shape> from the menu.
